The house is ideal for a group of eight adults and four children. The coastal position of this 5-bedroom house is emphasized by the expansive outdoor terrace area with a private pool, which also interacts with the lounge and dining areas on the ground floor. The design of the lower living areas offers amazing relaxation and entertainment opportunities. Four of the bedrooms are located on the upper floor. One of them has 4 bunk beds, making it an ideal setting for a family vacation. The fifth bedroom, designed in a loft style and located in the basement, opens up a breathtaking view of the sea and ensures additional privacy.
The upper decks offer an exceptional view of the sea.

What does Uthula mean?

In Zulu, "Uthula" means "Peace." Another lovely interpretation is:
U is for unite, you bring people together.
T is for time, you give to friends.
H is for heart, warm and loving.
U is for upstanding, the honorable way to be.
L is for little, the little things you do.
A is for approachable, constantly meeting new people.

How safe is South Africa?

For visitors to South Africa, it's important to know the following: Even after the end of Apartheid, the country remains divided. "Compared to Germany, South Africa has high crime rates, especially in the big cities and their outskirts," as stated in the travel and safety advice of the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. However, the "vast majority of violent crime occurs in areas and under circumstances that usually do not affect German holiday or business travelers," according to the website. This typically refers to violent crimes that mostly take place in the townships. The Zimbali Resort is guarded 24 hours a day and is therefore absolutely safe. Tours outside the resort are also entirely feasible, especially if one stays on the "touristic" paths and gathers information beforehand.

How can I pay?

The currency in South Africa is the Rand. However, you can typically pay everywhere with a debit or credit card. The best way to withdraw cash is locally at an ATM. Numerous ATMs are available at Durban airport.
